Richard Newton Lolley, PhD 1933-2000 MEMORIAL During this past year, the Department of Cell and Neurobiology, the Keck School of Medicine and the University of Southern California lost an outstanding individual, Richard N. Lolley, Ph.D., Associate Dean of Scientific Affairs and Professor of Cell & Neurobiology and Ophthalmology, who died unexpectedly at his home April 3, 2000 at the age of 66. His academic career spanned over 36 years at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Southern California and his early research helped to found the field of neurochemistry.
